For the outdoor enthusiast, a 300 acre Conservation Park, and Gerber and Green Lakes are located immediately across the road from Windever Farm. Open to the general public, you may roam about and enjoy nature at your leisure. From the boat landing on Gerber Lake, you can enjoy the best bass fishing in the area!

Located one mile away on the shores of Little Elkhart Lake, Camp Anokijig is a supervised camp experience for kids of all ages.

20 minutes away on the shores of Lake Michigan, Kohler-Andrae State Park has hiking trails, a public beach and swimming, and a designated beach for dogs and their owners. About 15 minutes to the west, the almost 30,000 acres Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit provides year-round activities, including camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, horse riding trails, hunting, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. For adventurous hikers, you can walk the Ice Age Trail, which runs through the length of the forest.

Or take a bike ride down any country road you want, and see picturesque barns, rolling fields and working dairy farms. Located four miles from Windever, Old Plank Road State Trail is a 17 mile bicycle touring trail that runs along Hwy 23 from Sheboygan to Greenbush – home of the Wade House Historic Site Civil War battle re-enactment and encampment in Wisconsin.
